This policy explains how The Auto Dealer (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you visit theautodealer.com or contact us.

Information we collect

• Information you give us — when you use our contact or vehicle enquiry forms, call, or email us: your name, phone number, email address, the vehicle you are interested in, and your message.
• Information collected automatically — like most websites, basic technical data such as your browser type, pages visited and approximate location, through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

• To answer your questions and follow up on vehicles you are interested in.
• To help arrange financing, leasing or warranty coverage when you ask us to.
• To run, secure and improve our website, and to measure our advertising (for example Google Ads and Meta/Facebook).
• To meet legal and record-keeping obligations.

When we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: lenders, leasing companies or warranty providers when you ask us to request an offer for you; service providers that help us run our business (such as website hosting and email), who may use it only for that purpose; and authorities when the law requires it.

Cookies & advertising

We use cookies to understand how the site is used and to measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA); we will not discriminate against you for using them. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

How long we keep it & security

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we protect it with reasonable security measures.
